In November 2018 the Green Gown Awards ceremony was held at the National Railway Museum, showcasing sustainability initiatives in the tertiary education sector.
Iain Patton, Chief Executive of the Environmental Association for Universities & Colleges, said guests were “extremely impressed” with the unique venue and found it very fitting for the event.
Hailing the event as a success, Patton said he hoped to return to the National Railway Museum again in the future and added: “We were pleased that your catering team were able to work with the Soil Association and achieve a “Gold—Food for Life Served Here” accreditation.
