In June 2019 the Aston Martin Owners Club hosted a special dinner for 89 guests at the National Railway Museum.
The evening set off with a champagne drinks reception in Great Hall against a backdrop of our KF7 ‘Chinese Locomotive’ before guests moved through to Station Hall for their eagerly anticipated meal.
Guests enjoyed delicious dishes including our trio of salmon starter, mozzarella and heritage tomato tarte tatin and charred pork tenderloin. The feast concluded with a tangy rhubarb syllabub with ginger biscotti.
The club’s Christine Howson was delighted by an “absolutely fantastic” event.
She added: “Everyone was blown away by the venue, but the most compliments I received were about the staff. From the lovely friendly security guards to the young team serving us, they were impeccable. Everyone was delighted by the food, which is often tricky to deliver good quality food to such a large number, but it was beautiful. I cannot fault anything at all. Everything exceeded my expectations.”
Christine was also very pleased by the calm, professional effort made by our Events team to prepare the event and accommodate tweaks along the way. “You pulled out all the stops,” she said.
