Great Hall is home to many of the greatest achievements in railway history, including legendary speed record-breaker the Mallard.
Guests can get up close and personal with this iconic 1938 locomotive as well as many others from our national collection, including the Japanese Shinkansen or ‘Bullet Train’.
They can marvel at the sheer power of the King George V and revel in the nostalgic charm of the Evening Star, the last steam locomotive ever built for British Railways.
This compelling location serves as an ideal venue for drink & canape receptions or something a little bit more we can do standing buffets. This space can be hired in conjunction with Wonderlab.
