Transport Options
By bus
The Rawcliffe Park and Ride bus picks up and drops off just outside the Museum.
By rail
The Museum is only a few minutes’ walk from York station and the route is signposted:
- Turn left outside the front of the station
- Pass the Royal York Hotel and turn left into Leeman Road
- Continue through the tunnel — the Museum is straight ahead.
There is also a direct route to the Museum via the station footbridge.
By car
The Museum is clearly signposted from all approaches to the city. Our visitor car park is on Leeman Road (£9 per day).
